He is comfortable with designing Shakespeare and Brecht as he is with musicals and pantomime.<\/p>\n With a vast portfolio of productions under his belt and can give you the latest twist or look if required or a more traditional and historical feel to a production. He specialises in theatre touring shows as a working practitioner and set builder whose knowledge of set construction and engineering helps produce practical and achievable sets within the client\u2019s budgets. His extensive theatre work, he design and build projects to help producers achieve the best results with an approach to the sets and props required. His careful attention to the details and finishes on a sets result in a well-made and practical design.<\/p>\n Ian trained at Nottingham Trent University. For the Lord Delfont Group Ian designed the Lenny Henry, Cannon and Ball and Dick Emery shows. After seasons at Nottingham Playhouse, Leicester and Theatre Royal Plymouth, Ian became Set Designer\/ Artist with the Theatre Royal Norwich and Cromer Pavilion\u2019s Seaside Special summer shows which he still enjoys designing for.
